Frequently Asked Questions
Why doesn’t my city have an event planned?
It could be that an event is still in the works, but it’s also likely because no one was available to organize it. You can organize one though! Check out our handy guide to get started.
Why aren’t we all in Columbia/DC/other place that I have a question about?
In a word: accessibility. Not everyone is able to travel hours away from home. We understand the desire to see millions of people in one place. We hope to see that too! Right now, we are focused on organizing in our local communities.
Why aren’t we marching in the streets? Why are our rallies at places that aren’t publicly visible? Why aren’t we protesting at representatives’ offices?
Every organizer is going to have a different answer to this question. Some cities and states are marching in the streets. Some rallies are very visible. Some protests are at the offices of representatives. It very much depends on the capacity of the local organizer(s), the local community, and the local options.
How do I get involved beyond attending actions?
This is one of our favorite questions! We wrote a whole post about it — check it out below!
So you wanna be an organizer?
Whether you’re a seasoned activist or only recently got involved, we’ve got you covered.
Keep up the great work !!
